Now here’s a costume that can serve two purposes, and take you to at least two events, in the month of October. Get yourself a beer girl costume  - one that’s loaded with oom-pa-pa – and your are set not only for Halloween but also for any Oktoberfest parties or celebrations that may come your way.

My friend, Dolores, slipped saw this one and fell for it right away. She put it on, added a petticoat to add some pizzaz to the skirt, and was suddenly filled with the Oktoberfest spirit! She pulled her hair into two ponytails and hustled down the street to Rusty’s Pizza to grab a big old mug of beer. Right after this photo was snapped, she went all Oktoberfest on us. She let two friends have a sip of her beer, then downed the rest of that bad boy. What a transformation a good beer girl costume can make!

Here in Santa Barbara, yesterday was one big Oktoberfest celebration, but there are more going on all month long. Check out Santa Barbara Beer Festival on October 17^th. Then use your beer girl costume as a great Halloween costume.
